🇮🇳 Emerging Trends in the Indian Nuclear Market for Deployment of Large and Small Reactors

India is perhaps one of the few countries in the world which has a consistent supportive policy on nuclear. India has 22 operational plants and a pipeline of 21 approved new build as well.

Climate challenge is real. But, by releasing over 2.7 billion ton CO2 to its atmosphere, India is stands as third largest polluters in world after China and the US. Among the most polluted cities in the world, 5 Indian cities find place in top 10 and 9 Indian cities are in the top 20. So, it is an urgent requirement that we beef up commercialization of such technologies for a cleaner environment without jeopardizing the reliability of power supply.

In this episode of NBP Hotseat, we focus on the emerging trends in the Indian nuclear market for deployment of large and small reactors.
