With the Government of Uganda hosting the Africa Nuclear Business Platform (AFNBP) in Kampala from 14 to 17 March 2023, we invited Dr. Akisophel Kisolo, Chairman of the Uganda Atomic Energy Council to join us on this edition of NBP Hotseat.

Dr. Kisolo helped nurture the Atomic Energy Council into a competent national regulator in the Africa region. In parallel with his current role Dr. Kisolo is a member of the Steering Committee of the Forum for Nuclear Regulatory Bodies in Africa (FNRBA) representing the Eastern Africa Region.

AFNBP 2023 will bring together all the key African nuclear officials which will provide an excellent opportunity for international stakeholders to gain first-hand insights on nuclear developments and plans of African countries and areas of potential strategic cooperation.
