Key Ingredients for a Successful New Build Program

Nuclear Business Platform spoke with Inna Pletukhina from the Energy and Infrastructure team of Hunton Andrews Kurth on key aspects for a successful new build program.

Recently there has been a resurgence in the demand for nuclear energy from developing countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Indonesia, Philippines, Kazakhstan which has mainly been driven by the need to combat climate change and the need for more stable and reliable energy sources to drive economic aspirations of the countries.

Inna Pletukhina is a legal professional focusing on nuclear power projects, including traditional and advanced reactor technologies, with a demonstrated history of working in the international affairs industry. She is currently in the Energy and Infrastructure team of Hunton Andrews Kurth and has extensive experience in the international nuclear sphere, including her most recent tenure at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). She has collaborated with operators, regulators, and national governments’ stakeholders around the world on nuclear security.
